Community Action Partnership is seeking an enthusiastic individual to perform compliant investigation, outreach, provide public information and maintain an active volunteer program. The Ombudsman will serve as an advocate for older persons to resolve problems and document and mediate complaints. The position requires an ability to work independently; to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field is madatory and a social work license is preferred. A minimum of two years employment experience in social work, nursing, public health, geriactrics, administration, community organization or other related job experience.
Full-time hourly, non-exempt position. Pay begins at $19 per hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and life insurance, paid annual and sick leave, 12 paid holidays, IRA match, Flexible Spending Account option.
