Area II Agency on Aging AREA PLAN:
The Area Plan charts the course of the Area Agency on Aging (AAA). Services will follow as we seek to create an age-friendly community. The plan describes the function of the AAA as the local Area Agency on Aging, presents relevant demographic trends, and outlines the major goals and objectives to be achieved over the course of four years.
October 1, 2013–September 30, 2017 Area Plan
Every four years, the Area II Agency on Aging and other Area Agencies on Aging around the country develop an Area Plan. Idaho Area Agencies on Aging also prepare and submit annual updates to the 4 year Area Plan. Plans and updates for the AIIAA are submitted to the State Unit on Aging, the Idaho Commission on Aging, which in turn files a State Plan on Aging with the federal Administration on Aging, all part of the Aging Network authorized by the Older Americans Act of 1965.
