Adult Protection Services Specialist

Under direction of the Adult Protection Supervisor this individual investigates reports of abuse, neglect, or exploitation of vulnerable adults. Responsiblities include assist, initiate, and participate in activities to educate the public community agencies, organizations, and medical community about elder abuse and adult protection services.  Assisting with the collection of data and preparation of reports regarding program usage.

To meet the education and experience requirements, at least one of the following criteria must be met:

  • Must hold a valid Idaho Social Workers license, and/or
  • A Bachelor’s degree in human services field or closely related field of study and at least two years of full-time experience in direct service delivery to vulnerable adults; and/or
  • An Associates degree and at least two years of full-time experience in law enforcement.

Weatherization Retrofit Installer Technician

Involves extensive work in crawlspaces and attics in a variety of weather conditions.  Requires:  basic carpentry and home repair skills, valid driver’s license with an insurable record, acceptable background check, ability to work and stay at out-of-town locations and ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.

Maintenance Manager – Lewiston

Community Action Partnership is seeking a motivated professional to provide daily general maintenance of rental housing and CAP office buildings. This position requires: experience and demonstrated knowledge of basic maintenance including but not limited to repair, painting, plumbing, electrical, cleaning, and grounds maintenance; ability to communicate and work effectively with tenants, contractors, vendors, coworkers, and supervisor; strong time management and organizational skills; and ability to work independently.
